Rip Blu-ray to MKV on Mac OS X El Capitan with best quality 

Step 1. Load Blu-ray movie to the software

Here is an easy part: With a Blu-ray optical drive hooked to your Mac OS X El Capitan, you can use some converter softwares to backup and rip your Blu-ray discs to iTunes compatible 1080p videos and then stream them to play at the full 1920×1080 resolution on the new iPad Pro and via Apple TV 4. So if I can encode my Blu-ray to 1080p M4V with stereo and Dolby Digital 5.1, that sure will be the best settings. Copy DVD movies on iMac for VLC playback (Mac OS X El Capitan) 

Step One: Run the program and insert the DVD disc you want to convert into your DVD-ROM; click “Load file(s)” icon to import the DVD movies. When the files are loaded, you can select the subtitle and audio track as you like. DVD ISO & DVD folders are also supported here.
